Welcome to our home!
I've included paint colors, source lists, and linked the tutorials to help answer any questions you have!
Door Color:  Dutch Boy's "Frosty Glade" darkened with a few more drops of pigment.

Okay.  Here's the thing.  We moved to a new house.  By "new"  I mean built in the late 90's.  By "built in the late 90's" I mean outdated finishes and surfaces.  I am trying to focus on the parts of my home that I love while waiting oh so patiently to change one fixture or finish at a time. I see it as an opportunity to blog about the changes as we make them!  Can I get an, "Amen?"

Amen.

No worries. All this patient waiting hasn't stopped me from decorating....

  4. We just moved into a smaller home that has a lot of out dated space, we have 2 kids and toys....I am curious what others do to keep their homes clutter free- I have a goal this year to make my space useable, neat and tidy.... I love your laundry room, that is one of my first projects.

    1. Thanks! I plan on some future posts on organizing clutter (specifically those space-consuming toys)! I have plans to turn one of Miss L's closets into an organized space with shelves, hooks, and labeled tubs to organize her toys. I am also currently looking for a nice-looking, large basket to keep some of her toys in the living room contained. I have included a link to one of my posts about organizing her toys, it includes free printable labels! Stay tuned!

  5. What paint color did you use in the kitchen? I love how you "modernized" the cabinets w/o painting them. Gorgeous. I can't wait to see your island painted!
